Hello everybody,
I am just starting with OpenFVM, I would like to try to use it for some multiphase simulations.
First of all, just to be sure, I would like to get confirmation that the last parameter in the bcd file is referring to the specie I set at the boundary.
Secondary, I didn't find the dam break case shown in the OpenFVM page, are there particular parameters to be set for the simulation?
And finally, more general: if I want to model a symmetry surface, is 'Empty' the right boundary condition to use?
Thanks in advance to everyone!
F.
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
1 - yes,
2 - the dam case should be in the example directory, if not this is just a recreation of Onno Ubbink, PhD 1997 dam test.
3 - simmetry faces are not implemented only cyclic. You have to do whole domain.

Good morning,
thanks for the answer. Then, concerning the boundary conditions, I wonder what are exactly: 'Empty', 'Open', 'Surfac' for?
Anyway, I set everything and then tried a run, but I get this message:
Reading mesh file: prova.msh …
Done.
Error: Problem with mesh
The mesh with gmsh looks fine. Isn't there any way to know more in detail what is wrong? (no other output files are generated)
Thanks again in advance,
regards,
Federico
