I am doing phd on LES, and I would like to contribute with your code...
I still dont have much of experience with C++ development... But I am willing to learn as quick as possible, so if you could give me some advise, I would be able to help sooner...
I ve done some C++ programing, OOstructured, but I never used CVS, etc...
Which book (or way of learning fast how to interact with you guys) would you recomend? I was browsing today "The Linux Development Platform" from Rafeeq ur Rehman... Do you think it is a good one...
Our policy for integrating someone in the Development (or Admin) team is to include someone who releases a first interesting and new thing to the project via a submission via one of the administrators.
This way we can really include people who are really interested in joining and developing in the project.
One can actually start develop without being part of the project Team by retrieving the latest sources via CVS, which procedure is simple and can be found in the Reference Manual.
Hope to read from U soon.
