We have been very silently lately, and perhaps you were convinced that
the OpenFlow project was dead and we have moved to something else.
Obviously, this is utterly false. We have been discussing with Scuola
Superiore S. Anna di Pisa, an academic institution, for working with
them and working with AIPA, the authority for the IT in the public
administration in Italy.
Now, after so much effort, AIPA has agreed to give a contract for
developing workflow tools and document management tools under an open
licence scheme (the GPL was non expressely cited, but it was always used
during informal discussion). The contract is for Scuola S. Anna of Pisa,
that has already cooperated with us in the previous phase of OpenFlow.
So this is a new and hopefully a better start.
I will make you informed of more interesting things to come.
