As it turns out the phpBB mod isn't very effective in stopping spam bots... what
a shame (it seemed like a good idea, too).

The one I'm now trying is
http://www.phpbb.com/files/mods/guest_confirmation_1_0_1a.mod

I'll tell you how things are in a few days to see if that's a more successful
way of dealing with the guestbook spambot problem.
