A "Gravatar" is a Globally Recognized Avatar, see: http://www.gravatar.com/ for
details.  Ideally existing modules which use (or could use) avatars should
support this system, e.g. guestbook comments, forum posts, etc. such that people
going to multiple team sites carry some personalization with them.

Perhaps there could also be a fall back to Chief Delphi icons; if there's a way
of looking them up via e-mail address?
