Tim I agree, why have to separate projects going? I think your attempt to bring them on board is a good idea, I haven't read your draft (heading out in a hurry in a few seconds), if you haven't I'd suggest adding the following comments/ideas: - openFIRST has been in the FIRST public eye for about 3 years now, people know the name. Instead of them starting from scratch they might a= s well join forces and use the name we've established. - Team 357 wouldn't be offered "founding team" status but it will be considered as a strong contributing force behind the new architecture an= d version. - You and I would remain project administrators, but the students will be brought on and trained with SourceForge, CVS etc. as I'm sure they probably don't have that experience. Just some ideas.
