[openFIRST-devel] Updates

Hey,

I hope the build season is going well for all of you (or for those not 
building, the regular school season).  Three things:

Item 1: http://demo.openfirst.org is functioning properly again (and is 
on the bleeding edge from CVS).  This might help you with #2.

Item 2: Jamie's asked for some help porting the modules from the old 
system to oF2.  He's working on openfirst.news and would appreciate if 
others could work on some of the remaining modules.  My own personal 
preference is that members be the next module (after news); but, 
they've all got to be converted some time.  If you're going to take on 
converting a module, let him know at ja...@op... (for a sample 
of an already converted module, see the awards module).

Item 3: FIRST Blogs is going well, I've got a mile long TODO list for 
changes (but, I wouldn't have it any other way).  The moderators are 
doing a good job and have been finding things I've missed (and thus 
growing the TODO list).  The main thing that's happened since the last 
update here was that people can now update their own entries by 
submitting new information via the add a blog mechanism (and moderators 
will approve it the same way as for new blogs).
