After installing openfi_app_ v0.9.210 +
openfi_app_base_installv3,(followed instructions VERY
carefully-multiple times)the install appears
sucsessful but the controls are non-functional.
I re-downloaded from a different server after noting
the files on the drive do not match the instruction
example, in that they do not
have ".openfi_app_config" or "etc_hosts".These may
not be needed, of course. The DMP1 was at firmware
build 2-0-315 before installation and the controls
function normally after removal of openfi. The unit
was upgraded long ago to a 60GB Toshiba drive. As
soon as openfi bootstrap finishes scanning, it
shows "Music Collection" on screen, but no other
interaction is possible, even after repeated re-boots.
I have scoured the forums, but may have missed a
solution. Perhaps I've missed something
obvious/stupid.
As this is free software, any help would be
generous, though considering history, we omnifi
owners are easy to pity.

On reflection, perhaps I should have posted my e-mail
    address as well.

I am having this same problem. I have tried deleting and
re-instlling the software following the instructions very
closely each time. Every time I get a non responsive
display control. I have also tried un-remarking the sleep
15 line in the open_fi start file. All that does is lets
simple center load. Any help please?
