[Openfc-tech] timetable or database then?

hi.

overlaping into the next day:
ok, so this task is somehow finished (60%?) which is beacuse
of the problem of overlaps from [unvisible] previous days
which don't appear in the first day of the table simply
because the timetable script don't checks the previous day in
database.

which brings us to the basic problem: who will decide on
overlapping? table_rendering script or database entry?

or in other words: should we rather tweak the addProgramme
script so it adds two entries if the entered programme is
going into the next day? this needs to be thought out
thoroughly i think.

and there's another question or task popping up: addProgramme
should be tweaked in this way, so that overlapping of
programmes [between eachother] don't occur at all. in other
words: goal is that the entries in the database are not
already overlapping instead of covering that up in the
timetable layout.


besides that, i created two new tasks and assigned them to
myself: Correct Sync of Timetabling and Database   and
Restructure of Functions. i hope that's ok. it's more of a
note to myself than real work delegation. normally i consider
adam as the one who does it.


about reoccuring programmes: we need to discuss all the
options we want to give within the system: daily and weekly is quite
sure, but how about monthly? every 6th in the month or every
second thursday in the month?

i know what adam will say now. hehe. both, ha?

ps: oh, and another thing: we urgently need delete
incorporated. my timetables are full. :)
