OpenEV requires certain environment variables to be set so it can find
required libraries (.so as well as python files) such as GTK and GDAL.
At the end of the installation you should have been directed to run OpenEV
from <install_dir>/bin/openev. This is actually a shell script that sets
the environment variables in the local shell and THEN runs
If you'd like to run openev directly (pymod/openev.py) rather than through
the shell script I suggest you take a look at what the shell script
(bin/openev) does and duplicate it in your .bash_profile (or .cshrc etc.).
I tried to install openev at linux following the build instruction for Unix. Starting openev I got the following error message:
bash$ pymod/openev.py utm.tif &
Traceback (innermost last):
File "pymod/openev.py", line 97 in ?
File "pymod/gtkmissing.py", line 2 in ?
ImportError: No module named _gtkmissing
Does anyone have an idea what I can do to solve this problem?
Thanks for help
