Ben, I'm running OpenEV successfully on Windows XP, as far as I know
there are no special requirements. I *think* your error message means
that the bin directory of OpenEV is not in your system path. On XP, you
can add a directory to your path by:
Right-click My Computer
Select Advanced tab
Click Environment Variables at the bottom
I would personally recommend you add it to the system variables rather
than user variables, although it should work.
It's also possible that the system is finding glib-1.3.dll but there is
another dependency that it isn't finding ... You can check this in XP by
running depends.exe or right-clicking the dll and selecting View
Applications and Software Development
