"Clipped" DRGs of Pennsylvania are available from the PASDA FTP site (ftp://www.pasda.psu.edu/pub/pasda/drg24k-c) which would seem to be ideal to use as a base dataset; However they have been cropped square and the non-"map" areas of the square are black. This means that when adjacent DRGs are loaded whichever is the top layer obscures part of the neighboring map. I'm considering a hack to not draw black pixels if they'd overlay another image, but this seems like it would be slow, so if anyone has a suggestion I'd love to hear it. -D |
