Welcome to the OpenERP Java Api project.
Overview
The aim of this project is to provide a standard Java API for interacting with the OpenERP server. The API reduces the amount of boiler plate code that need to be written to interact with the OpenERP server and allows a developer to focus on creating the user interface/managing data.
Current Functionality
The API supports reading, writing and importing data. It also exposes an interface to allow any function to be called on the OpenERP server. If you need a function to be included in the API, please create a ticket on GitHub where the code is hosted.

Current Use
- Kettle OpenERP plugins. Available since Kettle 5.
- OpenERP Java Report Helper used by Pentaho Report Designer to design OpenERP Reports since Pentaho Report Designer 5 Community Edition.
- OpenERP Talend Components. Input and Output Component for Talend Open Studio (Dataintegration).
- Pentaho Reports For OpenERP.
