A new version of OpenEphyra has been released. We added a search module that uses the Bing search engine. Thanks to James Zhang and Jeff Chen for sharing their code! Note that previous versions of OpenEphyra no longer work because the Yahoo! search API that was used before is deprecated. Please follow this link to download OpenEphyra 0.1.2: http://sourceforge.net/projects/openephyra/files/openephyra/openephyra-0.1.2/ Changes in Version 0.1.2: - Bing knowledge miner added - TREC 16 questions and answers added - Script for TREC 8-11 added - Other minor improvements and bug fixes Nico Schlaefer |

Dear Colleagues, It has been almost one year since we released the Ephyra QA system into open source. Since then, we received numerous support requests from groups who adopted the system for their own research. We would like to learn more about who is using OpenEphyra and for what kind of research. If you're working with OpenEphyra, we would appreciate it if you could send us an email, briefly explaining who you are and what you're using it for. With your permission, we would like to collect this information on our website and link your homepage or project site from there. Also, if you have recently published a paper involving OpenEphyra, it would be nice if you could share the citation information with us. Finally, if you have extended OpenEphyra and you're willing to share your code with other researchers, please get in touch with us. We may be able to include your code in a future release of the system. Of course, any contribution will be properly acknowledged in the distribution and on our website. Best regards, Nico Schlaefer |

Please follow this link to download OpenEphyra 0.1.1: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=216491 We only recommend this update to developers, as it mainly affects the code base and not the functionality of OpenEphyra. Changes in Version 0.1.1: - Name space changed to 'info.ephyra' - Code cleaned up - Bug in 'build.xml' and other minor bugs fixed Nico Schlaefer |
