Could it be possible to have a European version for date. Although date display can be change in general setting, this only change some display date. In calendar, most of the selection are in the following format y m d. This is a major put off for folk in Europe and elsewhere as they are use to date in the following format D M Y. This apply to all date input and calendar. Could it be something to be introduced so to make the platform more appealing to European Folks? I have done a little survey and to date out of 45 practice asked, 29 did wanted to used openemr but did not because of the date and others wording such as ZIP code; State, SS ..... .
Sound like a simple fix to expand the use of the platform?
I think most areas of the code respect the selection for date display... the exceptions should certainly be fixed. The client-side data entry logic accepts input in these various formats but always normalizes it to yyyy-mm-dd format which is normal for SQL and not specific to a region.
Wordings like Postal Code, State etc. can be changed either via translation or via the respective layout (Administration -> Layouts).
