Ain't this COOL!

More like WAY COOL.
Here's the original RFI (request for information) for that project, which provides more detailed information. To bad they didn't make it more public, so the OpenEMR vendors could submit proposals also. Pretty cool:
It's about time for OpenEMR to be used by the government.
>Peace Corps staff in country will use a laptop or mobile device to record basic medical information
It might be time for OpenEMR to build an offline version of OpenEMR for mobile apps and low bandwidth locations. Technology from HTML5 may already exist.
Tnx for the link, this might be the long lost son comming back and bringing the connection between the on and off-line world without having to get an constant Wifi, generator and backup and restore setting. But last posts were from 2010. What happened after 2012? Is it working or is it some idea that might be working but needs a lot of extra programming since OpenEMR is shared with many USERS on- and off-line ……….. that two or more have to share the same DB . But at least for that one docter with one assistant it seems be the missing link for continuity.
Hi Brady and Friends,
ZH Healthcare and partners have been actively working on this bid for a few months. Dont worry, OpenEMR Vendor(ZH Healthcare) is part of it. Everything is done now, and we hope to give you good news.
When it comes through it will be a great day for all of us.
Thanks and regards
