I'm looking for anybody's personal stories about setting up and submitting X12 837s to Emdeon Clearinghouse specifically... horror stories... tips... advice... anything really.
I just set up 3.0.1 and have a mix of various carrier claims that I want to test upload.
My current 3rd party billing service uses Medisoft ; he keeps telling me he has 'mapping issues' with the claims that Medisoft generates. He also keeps trying to discourage me from dropping him, explaining that he will "take care of it" and that I don't want to go through the hassle of setting up new PM software and going through the testing phase. I think he is mainly afraid of losing my business...
Anyway, any insight regarding Emdeon and sending X12 837s would be greatly appreciated.
