OEW - OpenEduWeb / News: Recent posts

Yes, it has been almost three years since OpenEduWeb was started and still there seems to be nothing concrete getting done. I realize that. And yes, I already announced a codebase change about two years ago that didn't really produce anything concrete.

I'm hoping this time will be different. This time the design will be ground-up for OEW. It won't be a school website, it will be designed as the OEW system from the beginning. The features that were in the second codebase most certainly be present; this includes fairly complex calendar event handling, as well as a good assignment system. Teacher pages handled in a wiki-like fashion, in addition to having several features precreated (e.g., class calendars and schedules) will also be a trademark of this system.... read more
