No

Hi,

I'd like to know if it's possible to use OpenDKIM through xinetd, rather than having it listening on a port by itself. This is for a personal web server where I don't send mails every minute, so most of the time the DKIM filter doesn't need to be running and listening.

Thanks in advance.

The library that does the I/O between the filter and the MTA (libmilter, part of sendmail) does the socket management itself, and there's currently no way to tell it to use a provided descriptor (e.g., stdin). So the short answer is "no".
