This particular is useful with InternalHosts that needs to be kept consistent with postfix's mynetworks settings. All postfix's database types can do this so it would be good for opendkim to lookup the same database.

Postfix uses various map types and some are similar to what opendkim already does.

http://www.postfix.org/DATABASE_README.html note the very last sentence.

In debian/ubuntu this is:

more /etc/postfix/dynamicmaps.cf
tcp /usr/lib/postfix/dict_tcp.so dict_tcp_open

So a dl load of the required interfaces is required. I haven't looked what ABI is needed.

    That page to me looks like what we publish as the list of data set types we support, rather than the description of a generic postfix table access method.

    Does postfix export some sort of generic thing we can access, or is the request to have us support everything they support right down to the keys used to do lookups?
