I will not be accessing my e-mail from Jul 30th afternoon through Aug 9th.

Gilles works in rel_2_8 branch, if you want to commit there, please 
contact him. BTW: Gilles working with Dmitry made huge contribution 
towards getting Cygwin build to work and generally cleaned lots of small 
imprefections in the build system. Big thanks!

The (aggressive) target for 2.8 is mid-August.
