[Opencxx-users] Makefile.am fixes

Hello,

Here is a patch fixing a couple of things:

- a number of targets defined in Makefile.am's override the default
ones instead of appending to them

- some documentation updates

- a test for an allocation, which I inserted some time ago when
investigating a problem (dont remember the details)
