I see -- sorry for the confusion.  As I wrote in another email, I use
the new GC only privately, and I have to expertise for merging
`libtool'd projects.

I noticed that Alexandre has checked in parts of GC 6.2.alpha4.  The
CVS tree currently is in an unbuildable state; I assume he is
currently working on merging the new GC?
