I am very sorry that I have been so little help, but my time plan
has been very tight. 

I would like to help port this to gcc 3.2, and beyond that, my plan to
implement an introspector interface as a walker into OpenC++ has become
more concrete.

I feel that it can easily be implemented as a customized walker that
walks the tree looking for ASTS to convert.
