The possibility to develop plugins on remote hosts. The web-inf directory and the Java library can be added through a net drive. But the Database can not be accessed from remote through the OpenCms Module Plugin. So it would be a good idea to simply make the database connection settings configurable.

I to would like remote server editing. Most developers aren't actually on the test box to setup this module. Maybe a SSH channel or other form of connection to the remote box.
