After a 2 year fighting aginst ITIL i found out, that a cmdb is a very useful thing. With 350 servers a huge network and thousands of users you have to implement alt least a change management. This is impossible without a cmdb. Shure we can (and will possibly) buy something expensive from BMC or IBM but I prefer to think the things over before i make a huge capital invest. So what is the status? May I think togehter wth you?
