Matlab Generator

Matlab Generator

We provide two different kinds of Matlab Generators. The first step of importing data models into Matlab out of OpenCDT is to generate Matlab classes out of Eclipse with the Matlab Class Generator. In a second step a Matlab Script Generator creates a script which initializes the relevant objects while running in Matlab.

The Matlab Class Generator

One plugin is for the Eclipse Modeling Framework to generate Matlab Classes out of the Genmodel of your Ecore Objects. You can install the plugin from http://svn.code.sf.net/p/opencdt/svn/branches/features/matlab/latest. But you may want to adapt the Generator to your purposes, so you can checkout the project from http://svn.code.sf.net/p/opencdt/svn/branches/features/matlab/net.bhl.generator.matlab.

You will find detailed instructions in [Matlab Class Generator].

The Matlab Script Generator

There is a second plugin for the openCDT project, which is not part of the release 0.9.1 so you need to checkout openCDT with SVN ([Eclipse Developer Installation]) and get the plugin from http://svn.code.sf.net/p/opencdt/svn/branches/features/matlab/net.bhl.cdt.generator.matlab. The plugin allows you to make a Matlab Script that generates your Objects you have modeled in openCDT. However it is also possible to use the plugin independently without openCDT.

You find further instructions in [Matlab Script Generator]

For more basic questions on how to install software in Eclipse or to Eclipse itself see: [Eclipse Developer Installation] or http://www.eclipse.org/.
