Creating a OpenCDRRate Template in Slinger

By creating this template, you are creating a file format that OpenCDRRate recognizes and can import so it can rate, tax and bill any CDR you have in Slinger. These steps only need to be performed once.

1. Log into your Slinger management portal. https://slinger.icehook.com/
2. Click 'CDR FORMATS'.
3. Click 'New'. (bottom-right)
4. From the drop-down, choose the CDR format you upload to Slinger with.
5. Enter 'opencdrrate' in the Name field.
6. Enter 'opencdrrate is awesome!' in the Description field.
7. Select the field that contains your unique call identifier and rename it to CallID.
8. Select the field that contains your call start date/time and rename it to CallDateTime.
9. Select the field that contains your call duration and rename it to Duration.
10. Select the field that contains the source IP address of the call and rename it to SourceIP.
11. Select the field that contains the ANI/ originating number and rename it to OriginatingNumber.
12. Select the field that contains the DNIS / destination number and rename it to DestinationNumber.
13. Select the field that contains the LRN and rename it to LRN.
14. Select the field that identifies whether the call was dipped for CNAM or not and rename it to CNAMDipped.
15. Select the field that contains the destination rate center of the call and rename it to RateCenter.
16. Select the field that contains the carrier identifier or IP address of the carrier you used to terminate the call and rename it to CarrierID.
17. Select 'Always Block' on all other fields.
18. Click 'Create'.

Getting your Slinger CDR into OpenCDRRate

Now that you have created an export template for OpenCDRRate, you can download your CDR and import them into OpenCDRRate for billing.

1. Log into Slinger. https://slinger.icehook.com/
2. Select 'DEVICES'
3. Click 'Edit'.
4. Select 'opencdrrate' from the drop-down.
5. Click 'Update'.
6. Click 'CDRS'.
7. Create your download files.
8. Download and save them to your machine.
9. Open main.php in OpenCDRRate.
10. Click 'Rating Queue'.
11. Click 'Submit'.
12. Select 'Slinger' from the drop-down.
13. Select the CDR file to import.
14. Click 'Import File'. Results of the import will be presented on-screen. Those CDR will now be in Rating Queue which will be picked up during the hourly rating jobs.
