Payment Processing

OpenCDRRate.org currently has 2 methods of payment processing. You can record manual payments like cash, check, wire transfer, etc or you can initiate payment via your PayPal account. Need another format? Contact [Support].

Manual Payments

1. Open the main.php page in the [PHP Admin Portal].
2. Click 'Customers'.
3. Click the 'Payments' cell for the customer you want to record a payment for.
4. Click 'Add Payment'.
5. Fill out the fields and click 'Save'.

PayPal Payments (no monthly PayPal Fee that we know of)

1. Configure your PayPal information in paypal.php.
2. Configure your SMTP settings in /vars/smtp_server.php. You can use testsmtp.php to make sure your outgoing email is working.
3. Open the main.php page in the [PHP Admin Portal].
4. Click 'Customers'.
5. Click the 'Payments' cell for the customer you want to record a payment for.
6. Click 'Request PayPal Payment'.
7. Fill in the amount you want them to pay and click 'Send Request'.
8. An email will be sent to the customer for the amount of specified.
