K-meleon, being based on Mozilla has a full DOM, the best support for CSS2, so I don't think there should be any worries about what the browser supports (besides plugin/ActiveX-based stuff since it might be problematic getting it to work off the CD). I would definitely not like to see the use of Flash, and preferably not Java either. For the moment, you can start work using Mozilla to test the interface.
