Remember that our installer has to pass the "My Grandma Can Use It" test. What we're really talking about here is an installer that presents one screen at a time, asking one question at a time. SCREEN ONE: "Do you want to install an office suite? Click "Yes" or "No."" SCREEN TWO: "Do you want to install a browser? Click "Yes" or "No."" No "Next" button, no button for the next screen, just something simple that My Grandma can use. Once all the questions have been answered, then the application starts installing. If My Grandma can't do an easy install on the first try, she's gonna trash it. Alex |
