We should follow very strict criteria for quality, which at the moment only gives us about 200MB I would think. Even so, I'm inclined to agree with Toby, that the source doesn't need to go on (it's not required by GPL either). The person who wants to play with it can find it online. For the rest, we should consider making a section "What is source?" The only important reason I can see for including all the source is for distribution to places like India, where there may not always be internet available, and it would be great to start some 12 year old off hacking his way out of poverty. Even then I think it might be better with a companion CD with all the source and devel tools.
