Does the LG G2 camera support 4K video - e.g., is it an option in the phone's native camera app?

There is apparently a mod that enables 4K video on the LG G2 ( http://www.xda-developers.com/android/mod-for-the-lg-g2-brings-120-fps-and-4k-ultra-hd-video-recording/ ), but this implies it's not available as standard, which means Open Camera probably can't support it (I imagine the mod makes some low level changes, where as Open Camera uses the phone's camera via the standard Android API).

More generally, although Snapdragon 800 supports 4K video capture, I don't think it follows that all phones with it will have the feature.

The native g2 cam app does not have 4k support.
My stock cam app has 4k support, though the rom I am running has included the mod.
The mod is tje cam app of the lg G pro 2, which is a g2 with another screen.
So I am guessing that if you enable 4k for the g pro 2 native stock rom/app, then we are all happy.

Okay, I've enabled the option for the next version so that it should appear for the LG G2. Note that because 4K isn't officially supported by Android API, I can't guarantee it will work, though it does seem to work okay on Samsung Galaxy devices at least (Note 3 and S5).
