My device supports 27 different picture sizes of which I use 3-4 on daily basis.

  • 1280x720 for sending post-card to the web
  • 2592x1944 for saving and sharing nice views
  • 4096x3072 for high quality memories

Switching between them using the default UI is rather tedious. How about this?

Add a widget that users can show or hide on the main screen (like, GPS, WB, exposure) which acts like the picture settings and pops up a "drawer". In the drawer there is a user-defined list of picture sizes (or picture sizes and quality settings) which is easy to choose from (list elements are about the size of the icons on the main screen).

It would be really helpful, just three buttons on the main screen maybe, for fastest access to different resolutions and DRO/macro toggle.
I use ~3 resolutions usually as well:
    - simplest capture of some text, for example
    - usual quality like "it would be enough"
    - "best of what you can"
It takes very long time to switch them by current controls when you walk with another people for example and need to take pictures on the run :(

you can do this with MACRODROID .
I use MD to do a lot of Things.
turn on Bluetooth automatically in my Car
turn of/ on wlan if i (not) at home
switch between landscape and portrait and auto switch off.
i think you can use md to do this
