Hi, I run version 1.55 on my Fairphone 2 (Fairphone Open OS, AOSP 10.23). According to F-Droid this is the latest version?
I would like to humbly request a feature, and that is to record sound through Bluetooth. There are Bluetooth microphones that are superior to any built-in microphone, and currently Open Camera does not use them when taking videos. I also have the app "Audio Recorder", which is also Open Source. That has a function specifically labelled "bluetooth source" for audio input. Open Camera has something that is seemingly the same "external audio", but it does not work, no sound gets recorded from a connected bluetooth audio source (in this case it is a headset, but that would deliver audio through its microphone as well). Instead one second of some artefact gets recorded, then follows silence, so I think this is not a Bluetooth implementation? Audio recorder records properly from the headset.
There is another setting "camcorder", but I do not understand the intention of which? How can there be a camcorder connected to an Android phone? Anyway, the last option "internal" does not use Bluetooth, as would be expected.
There is another setting in Audio Recorder that they labellen "unprocessed", just to mention that as well.
Thanks alot
Oliver

I have just tried the "Camcorder" source setting. To my surprise this does record from the Bluetooth headset... So maybe the label is just misleading. Another remark: Open Camera's sound recording includes a very low but markable high frequency hum, which Audio recorder does not record. As I do not use any filtering in Audio Recorder I guess this is some artifact from Open Camera?
