This happens on two different phones: LG G5, Pixel 5.
Photos taken with automatic exposure and focus are fine.
Photos taken with automatic exposure and manual focus are fine.
Photos taken with manual ISO and Shutter Speed, using either automatic or manual focus are blurry.
The behavior with manual ISO and Shutter Speed is strange. The live view is in focus. After pressing the shutter button, the live view becomes blurry and then the image is recorded. The live view remains blurry for several seconds after the picture is taken.

I have been using Open Camera since 2022, with no problems. I thought this might be an issue with version 1.53. To check this I installed version 1.52.1, but the same error occurred.

I have a similar situation, but with mine it loses focus for manual focus mode when I switch between video and photo modes. To fix it, I need to switch to auto focus and then back to manual focus. Disabling manual and then reenabling ISO/exposure (like you described) does not fix it for me.

After updating to 1.54-1, when taking a photo with manual exposure, the photo is blurry and the focus control is disabled until the app is shutdown and restarted. This occurs on the LG G5. On the Pixel 5, the photo is blurry, the live view is blurry initially, and then the focus control snaps back.
