#1124 Camera clicks during focus on Qin F21 Pro

I have Xiaomi Qin F21 Pro flashed with LineageOS 18.1 by A.I.V.

When I manually focus very close or very distant objects, an audible click happens and the image becomes totally blured, and I barely can focus it again. Sometimes happens with autofocus as well. Seems like some kind of integer overflow, so the camera reaches an edge and suddenly turns into an opposite state instead of focusing better.

I couldn't reproduce this with the stock Camera2 app, but not completely sure if it doesn't happen there too. AFAIR, it also happened with the bar code reader in the Energize app too, and I couldn't control the focus there at all (the library it uses is pretty legacy), so I had to turn the flash on and off to trigger AF again.

Can someone suggest me some camera test app with low-level controls so I can play around with focus values and figure out what is being overflown?

By the way, Camera2 is also prone to this, yet much more rarely.
