#1047 External Microphone with Android 13 phone

No audio is recorded when using a separate external microphone (an AndyCine) on my Samsung S22 running Android 13 despite setting Open Camera to use an external microphone. I am using a JSAUX TRRS to USB C adapter for the connection. If instead of using the AndyCine microphone I use the microphone in a headset (which includes earbuds) the audio is recorded. This therefore seems to be a problem with Android 13 not seeing microphones that do not have accompanying earphones. Maybe you can find a way around this problem?
