Using a Sony Xperia 1 III on Android 12

Was very happy to see that despite the warning of potential incompatibility in the FAQ, after updating to the Camera2 API, I was in fact able to select RAW (DNG) support. And once I figured out that settings for ISO and Shutter Speed couldn't be set from the main settings menu, but had to be done on the live view overlay by selecting the exposure control button, I started exploring and saw that Open Camera , while allowing me to adjust both ISO and shutter speed, shutter speed is limited to a maximum (1sec), much lower than the camera actually supports, and that is selectable in Sony's onboard Photo Pro software (30 sec).

I'm curious, since Open Camera supports RAW, ISO, and Shutter Speed conttol for the Xperia 1 III, and only Shutter Speed seems more limited than what the camera supports, whether it's because Open Camera is limiting it, or if it's designed that way, a bug, or I'm doing something that is creating the conflict?

I wanted to use Open Camera as an intervalometer for astrophotography since Sony's Photo Pro doesn't support taking multiple shots, but astrophotography requires me to use the 15-30 second shutter speed options. Hopefully Open Camera can or will support it...

Also, unrelated, seems like camera ID 0 & 2 both are the same main camera, while ID 3 & 4 are the tele and ultrawide lenses.

Plenty of discussion about max shutter speed can be found using the search, such as https://sourceforge.net/p/opencamera/discussion/general/thread/f67d5a25d9/?limit=25#fad1/de6e

Also about other than the main camera modules.

It is sad that (most) manufacturers do not allow 3rd party apps to use (all) the "extra" features.
