Not technical but still a question: do we have an option to crowdfund
specific topics for OC?
For example, I'd add my $100 for implementing ticket #824:

A fresh idea, I certainly would participate in some crowdfunded feature requests. However, I believe that any change or a new feature needs to have really wide support (funded or not), else it will be offended by majority of the users. I'm thinking that the most important initial action from the users is to actually show support for such ideas that sounds good to be had, by following them up, even a one liner is at least one million times better than silence.
What comes to the ticket #824, I'm not in favour of it. IMO there is no point to use other than "native" resolution JPG at 100%. Any decent gallery app provides cropping and scaling, I use the Simple Mobile Tools Pro from F-Droid, it is very good in all respects.
