Samsung Note10+ from T-Mobile US (SN-N975U)
Stock ROM on Android 11
Open Camera 1.48.3
Using Camera2 I have been able to access the infrared camera at ID:4, though the last time I tried was before the last major update, which I think is when it went to Android 11.
Now when I get to ID:4 I get an OS "Serious camera error' nudge and OC reporting the usual, "Failed to open camera. Camera may be in use by another application? ID:4". I have tried a power-off so far, and a reset of the preferences, but since I am getting the "Serious camera error" I assume it's Android honestly reporting a conflict.
Not sure what they (Samsung) have holding on to the IR camera full time (even w/o opening the stock camera app) or why. Seems wasteful to have the IR camera active without needing it for a photo.
Anyone else seen this?
Glad to share OC's "About" output if desired, etc.
Thanks!
