cannot find stored pictures (no access to storage location ?)

On my phone (Samsung a73) I can access the photos with the opencamera app. There is a lock icon near every photo.
When I try to copy the photos to my desktop with a usb-cable the photos cannot be found.
I allready tried to modify some settings like storage location and "Storage Access framework" but still no success. Reset settings did not help either.
Any suggestions ?
