Open Camera no longer appears as a choice when a program asks me which camera to choose. only the buily in camera is a choice. os there a way to make it show up again? multiple phones android 11 latest updates

Can reproduce this in Android 12. Is there any way to solve this?

STR

1. Install the app.
2. You cannot actually set the app as the default app for the camera or even choose it when such an intend is sent/other app requests pictures.
3. It e.g. looks like this (you can use "Camera Folder" linked below to reproduce this):
   

Also apps like Camera Folder won't work like this, because they don't recognize this app as a camera app.
