Using GS9+ phone on Android 9 and Outlook email app. All up to date as best
as T-Mobile and Google app store will allow.

Open camera app settings set on no photo orientation lock. I've tested this
with both landscape and portrait lock enabled as well, still same result.

Take photos in landscape or portrait orientation. They display fine when
viewing in the Samsung gallery or through my file manager app.

When attaching said photos to email they all get oriented to landscape once
the email is received by my intended target, resulting in my portrait
photos being rotated to landscape. This is an annoyance to my email
recipients.

I've read something about the xfif? Meta data being read incorrectly or
ignored by the email app. When using default Samsung photo app this is
never an issue.

Thoughts?
