I have a Samsung A53, the default camera that comes with the phone has a night mode for taking photos of the stars etc. I heard that there is a "X-Night" mode that shows up for supported phones as well as other modes. I see X-Bokeh and X-BTY, not X-Night. So is my phone just not supported or is it hidden somewhere else?

This is up to the device/manufacturer, whatever they are supporting for third party applications for the vendor extension modes. (My Galaxy S10e has night mode available in Open Camera, but it may be that not all Galaxy models do).
