I was wondering about two features of open camera

    1) Flash while recording video - I love the idea of having notice that I have video recording when I'm using a remote to start the recording. Sadly, the flash going off constantly ruins the video. Is it possible to have the flash go off once at the start of recording rather than going continuously and ruining the video?

    2) My phone has five cameras and while I rotate through them the names are "Front camera: ID X" and "Back Camera: ID X" is it possibly to rename these cameras so its easier for me to quickly tell which lens I am using? Also I was wondering if it is possible to rotate through cameras any other way, like a list?

    Thanks

1: I've added this idea to me TODO.

2: The next version of Open Camera will make handling multiple cameras clearer - there will be a separate icon (one for switching between front/back, another for switching between the multiple front or back cameras). Displaying something other than a number is hard without details on what different phones are using their different cameras for, but the next version will at least detect a camera as being "ultra wide".

Thanks so much for the feedback.

I wasn't sure if you could make it so the user could map the text that shows on the screen, but sensing the type of lens and being able to independently switch between front/back cameras is great too.

I look forward to the next version
