I was surprised my cheap LG Stylo 4 can shoot raw, but it does thanks to Open Camera. My question is: the DNG files are around 26 MB while the camera resolution is 13 MP. In my previous phone, Lumia 1020 and also other raw files for digital cameras, the raw file size in megabytes is usually around the same number as the camera megapixels. Am I mistaken or is Open Camera producing large images? Btw, I tried Adobe Lightroom and it produces the exact same size, 26 MB.
In Open Camera, I tried disabling HDR function and all noise/edge processing, but the size remains the same.
Any ideas if there is a reason the DNGs for this phone is too big or is this the way it is?
Thanks
