I am trying to use an external USB audio source for recording the video sound. Now this problem: when I connect my USB soundcard - which has both LINE and MIC inputs - to the phone (a Galaxy s8 with Android 9), the app cannot choose between those sources. No matter what option I choose under Video Setting > Audio Source, it always picks up the MIC source, not the LINE source.
When I connect the soundcard to my Mac, the corresponding list of possibe Audio sources in the system settings of the Mac contains both the LINE and the MIC sources and can can choose eother of them.
Can I do something I haven't thought of, or else - will there be an update fix for this coming?
