Took some photos on a hike/jog today. Stamping was working fine for first 5 photos. After that, the remainder of the photos are missing GPS and elevation info. All that got stamped on the photos after number 5 is the date and time
The only hint I can give you is that the last photo I took with full stamp info was in portrait mode. The next photo was in landscape mode. Further photos were in both portrait and landscape.
I just restarted the phone but after a test photo here at home , the GPS/elevation info is still missing. I ran a GPS app to test and it was getting GPS info, so the GPS sensor is working.
When I checked the info on the photo, I was able to open it to the proper location where it was taken (as verified on Google Maps) and can also see the actual GPS coordinates in Maps. So the GPS info is in the photo EXIF info.
So what could have cause OC stamping to go haywire as I was taking multiple photos?
Running Android 11 with Nov/2020 patch.

Thanks for the info, I'm not sure what might cause this. I had already noticed that the location for the photo stamp is read separately from the Exif data, so there is a small chance these could change or even only show for one if the GPS location stops being available. It's on my TODO to fix that - but it could be something else altogether of course...

Fixed this problem. Had to YET AGAIN uninstall OC , reinstall it and then reset all the options.
BTW: It doesn't look like the backup/restore settings work.
