On Galaxy Note 4: wrongly identified front and back cameras

It was working but after an update (and now with fresh installations) Open Camera is wrongly identifying front and back cameras. It is placing functionality (like the flash control or the orientation) on the wrong camera.
Is there a way to fix this (I've tried several fresh installations as well as reinstalling from backup with cached configuration).

Never mind... finally a hard reboot solved the issue.
